Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter, Auto Theft and Robbery (BEAR) Unit are investigating a residential break and enter in Kitchener.

On August 15, 2026, between approximately 8:20 p.m. and 8:50 p.m., two unknown suspects broke into a residential building in the area of Newbury Drive and Rolling Meadows Drive.

Investigators believe the suspects gained entry by smashing the glass of a sliding patio door.

The suspects are described as two males, one wearing a black tracksuit and the other wearing a blue jacket with dark-coloured pants.

The investigation remains ongoing.
