Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a motor vehicle collision in Kitchener.

On August 20, 2026, emergency services responded to a reported collision on Queen Street near the Highway 7/8 eastbound on-ramp.

A female driver of one of the involved vehicles was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the second vehicle were not injured.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit has assumed carriage of the investigation and charges are anticipated.

The investigation remains ongoing.
