Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Serious Collision in Wilmot Township

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is investigating a serious collision in Wilmot Township.

On August 25, 2026, at approximately 8:45 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a Chrysler and a Honda at the intersection of Queen Street and Witmer Road.

The driver of the Honda, a 24-year-old female from Kitchener, was transported by ambulance to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 68-year-old female from Plattsville, was also transported by ambulance to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours while police conducted their investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing and charges are anticipated.
