Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Special Victims Unit are investigating a sexual assault reported in Waterloo.

On June 27, 2026, an adult female victim was sexually assaulted by multiple individuals at a residence in the area of Albert Street and University Avenue West.

As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old male from Wellesley Township and a 31-year-old male from Waterloo were arrested and charged with:

• Sexual Assault Cause Bodily Harm
• Sexual Assault

The investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are looking to identify and speak to the individual picture below in connection to this incident.
