Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Waterloo Break-In
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break-and-enter in Waterloo.
On September 7, 2026, at approximately 3 a.m., police responded to a report of break-and-enter in progress at a residence on Chesapeake Crescent.
The suspects gained entry to the residence by smashing the glass in the front door. After entering the home, the suspects fled the area and were last seen travelling northbound on Chesapeake Crescent.
A resident was home at the time of the incident. No physical injuries were reported.
As part of the investigation, officers are asking residents and motorists in the area to review any dash camera, residential security camera, or other video footage recorded between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on September 7, 2026, for any suspicious persons, vehicles or activity.
The investigation remains ongoing.
