Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in downtown Kitchener and are seeking assistance identifying an individual believed to be involved.

On September 14, 2026, at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers were conducting proactive patrols in the area of King Street East and Cedar Street North when they located an adult male suffering from a facial injury.

Through the investigation, officers learned that a robbery had occurred in the area. The victim was struck with a piece of wood and sustained a laceration that required medical attention.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the individual pictured below who is believed to have information related to the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Central Division Crime Suppression and Response (CSAR) Unit.
