Waterloo Regional Police Respond to a Sexual Assault in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police’s Special Victims Unit is seeking public assistance in an ongoing sexual assault investigation in Kitchener. 

On July 5, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a sexual assault in the area of Otto Street and Queen Street. 

An adult female victim was outside in the area where she was approached by an unknown male. The victim was sexually assaulted by the male and managed to flee to safety.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries. 

The suspect is described as a Black male, 5'9", 20-25 years of age, with a strong accent, wearing a basketball jersey style shirt, cutoff jeans, and red shoes. He was riding a white bicycle.
