Waterloo Regional Police Respond to a Kitchener Bomb Threat
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a threat of violence towards a government building in Kitchener.
On July 7, 2025, at approximately 12 p.m., police responded to an alleged bomb threat in the area of Frederick Street and Duke Street.
Responding officers completed a full search of the building and were unable to locate anything device.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined the threat was fake and there were no risks to public safety.
