Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break and Enter, Auto Theft, and Robbery (BEAR) Unit is investigating a break-and-enter in Waterloo.

On September 23, 2026, at approximately 11:35 p.m., individuals wearing masks forced their way into an occupied residence in the area of Sunnydale Place and Cedarbrae Avenue.

The suspects were confronted by the homeowner and fled the area prior to police arrival.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of this incident. 

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
