Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious single-vehicle collision in Kitchener.

On September 27, 2026, at approximately 3:10 a.m., emergency services responded to multiple reports of a grey Nissan Altima that had struck a hydro pole on New Dundee Road near Reichert Drive. 

The driver, a 17-year-old male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

Two 17-year-old male passengers were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries. 

New Dundee Road remains closed between Robert Ferrie Drive and Dodge Drive while hydro crews’ complete repairs.

The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
