Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Serious Collision Involving an E-Scooter in Kitchener

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Services Unit are investigating a serious collision in Kitchener.

On October 6, 2026, at approximately 10:45 a.m., police responded to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and an e-scooter at the intersection of Charles Street West at Water Street South. 

The operator of the e-scooter, a 37-year-old Kitchener female, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla, a 73-year-old male, reported no injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing and the roads in the area have since reopened.
