Waterloo Regional Police Arrest Male on Drug Trafficking Charges in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Cambridge male on drug trafficking-related charges as part of an ongoing crime suppression initiative.
On September 23, 2026, officers arrested a male in the area of Main Street and Wellington Street.
As part of the investigation, officers seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine. Officers also seized brass knuckles and a prohibited knife.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old Cambridge male was charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (two counts)
- Possession of a prohibited weapon (two counts)
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (two counts)
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
