WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Serious Cyclist-Involved Collision in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a collision involving a cyclist in Waterloo.
On July 11, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a Kia motor vehicle and a cyclist at the intersection of Colby Drive and Wyman Road.
The cyclist, a 32-year-old male from Waterloo, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Kia, a 26-year-old Kitchener male, did not sustain any physical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police’s Traffic Services Unit, and charges are anticipated.
