Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an assault in Kitchener.

On July 9, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., an unknown female attended a store in the area of Highland Road West and Westmount Road. The female began a verbal altercation with an employee and threw a can, striking the employee in the head.

The female then fled the store in the company of another female.

The victim, a 30-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services.

Investigators would like to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.
