Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Distraction Theft in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating distraction theft in Waterloo.
On July 16, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the area of Amos Avenue and Vogel Place.
A female victim was walking home when she was approached by the unknown suspects.
A distraction was committed and the victim's jewelry was stolen while suspects remained in a vehicle.
The vehicle contained one unknown male and an unknown female, and is described as a newer model Toyota Rav4.
