Waterloo Regional Police Charge Kitchener Male in Drug Trafficking Investigation
Waterloo Regional Police have charged a Kitchener male as a result of a three-month-long investigation into drug trafficking in Waterloo Region.
As part of the investigation, on August 6, 2025, members of WRPS' Drugs and Firearms Unit completed a search warrant at two Kitchener residences.
Investigators seized drugs, including suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, and hydromorphone pills. Also seized were a firearm, two stolen motorcycles, and approximately $5,000 in Canadian currency.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old Kitchener male has been arrested and charged with multiple criminal offences, including:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (four counts)
Operation of a conveyance while prohibited
Possession of property obtained by crime (three counts)
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
