Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Copper and Aluminum Theft in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a theft of copper and aluminum from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units at a commercial property in Kitchener.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of November 24, 2025, at a business in the area of Riverbend Drive and Lancaster Street West. Suspects gained access to the roof of the building and removed copper and aluminum components from HVAC units.
The theft caused approximately $120,000 in damages.
