Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Hit-and-Run Collision Involving Cyclist in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision in Kitchener after a cyclist was struck by a vehicle.
On September 30, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a cyclist at the intersection of Highland Road West and Westmount Road West.
The cyclist, a 17-year-old Kitchener male, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The involved vehicle failed to remain at the scene and is believed to be a blue Ford F-150.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
